How to use Squarespace

This site is built in Squarespace 7.1 Classic Editor

Overview of How Squarespace 7.1 Works

As of August 2022, Squarespace has two editing experiences. One is called Classic Editor and one is called Fluid Engine.
I originally built this template in Classic Editor (CE).
However, the default when you add new sections will be Fluid Engine.
Because of this, I recommend you duplicate existing sections in this template (more about that below).
The good news is:
1) You can still easily add new Classic Sections if you want to make one from scratch.
To add a new section with the classic editor:
→ Click Edit on the page, then click “Add Section”.
→ Scroll down to the bottom of the list of section types.
→ Click Add Blank + [Classic Editor].

Adding Content to Your Site

I’ve pulled out the ones you are most likely to use and added them to this dropdown menu.

I recommend that you duplicate the home page and then move sections around or delete them, etc. That way you will get the special template styles and keep the look consistent.
